The future of transit, housing and development in the Southwest Corridor

Please join us on June 10th, 12:00 pm — 1:00 pm for an online conversation about the future of transit, housing and development in the Southwest Corridor.

We’ve lined up a terrific and varied panel to share their perspectives and answer your questions.

Moderator: Lynn Peterson, President, Metro Council

  • Nuhamin Eiden, Director, SW Corridor Equity Coalition, Unite Oregon
  • Alma Flores, Director of Housing Development, REACH Community Development
  • Jason Snider, Mayor, City of Tigard

About the event: The defeat of ballot Measure 26-218, which would have funded the expansion of the MAX light rail into the SW Corridor (SW Portland, Tigard, Tualatin) and provided funding for safer streets, creates new uncertainty.

Our participants bring their expertise, vision and diverse perspectives to bear on pressing questions. The event is free, but you’ll need to register in advance.

If you would like to request interpretation of this event, please email with your preferred language by 5:00 pm on June 8th. We will do our best to accommodate requests received by the deadline.
